Along the Moonwalk

The Moonwalk runs the entire length of the French Quarter and banks the Mississippi River. It is not only a favorite place for tourists as well as locals for an evening stroll, but it also provides easy access to shops and restaurants, as well as the Aquarium of the Americas and the riverboats.

The Moonwalk was named for former New Orleans Mayor ‘Moon’ Landrieu (father of current U.S. Senator, Mary Landrieu).

Dear Guests: We have worked very hard on this site in hopes that it will educate, inform, and entertain. All donations are appreciated, once we get our tip jar back up, but if you can’t do that, please donate a little of your time to signing the guestbook below and let us know what you think. As always, we appreciate your comments. Thanks, Gil Davis -- Jay Barrymore
