Cemeteries

In New Orleans, the "Cities of the Dead" refer to the above-ground tombs that are relatively common to the area.
You can identify them easily by their rusty, but decorative ironwork and sun-bleached tombs.
Many are adorned by statues and crosses and it's not unusual to see flowers and votive
candles placed there by still-living friends and relatives (or fans, in some cases!).
