Harrah's Casino

Harrah's New Orleans, located near the foot of Canal Street and just a block away from the Mississippi River is a 115,000 sq ft. casino.  Contained within its walls are about 2,100 slot machines, more than 90 table games and even a poker room.  If you get hungry, you can try their buffet or even a little fine-dining.  Opened in 1999, Harrah's used nearby hotels to provide accommodations, but the casino finally opened its own 27-story hotel tower with 450 rooms across the street on September 21, 2006.  Harrah's New Orleans is one of three casinos in New Orleans city limits; the others being the Crescent City Casino and the Carnival Club.
