Muriel's is a restaurant located at the corner of Chartres and St. Ann
(the former location of the Chart House and across the street from Stanley).

Muriel's is a ghost tour stop because this back room was used as a holding place for the slave market and apparitions have allegedly been seen here.  According to Haunted History Tours, the restaurant stopped using this area after continuing complaints of spooky phenomena.
